Day 4 - Maple Bay to Pirate's Cove, DeCourcy Island

August 3 2010
We enjoyed a great tenderloin dinner last night and then some candlelight in the cockpit. This Morning we got off to a pretty early start and made our way north to DeCourcy Island and the beautiful Pirate's Cove.

May I have some please?

En route to De Courcy Island

We are anchored here with a stern line - it can be very busy here but it's not bad right now. We enjoyed a fantastic hike around the island. There are a lot of arbutus trees and very pretty open forest.

Once the clouds burned off this morning it was pretty hot, I'm glad for the breezes

At the point, there is a treasure chest where you can "take a treasure, leave a treasure".  It had all kinds of cool goodies inside!

Tomorrow we are heading to Gabriola where Jesse is visiting his friend Peter.  We'll be meeting up with them.  See you later!
