Day 12 - August 11, 2010 - Wallace Island to Otter Bay Marina, North Pender Island

We left Conover Cove bright and early this morning and headed south on our way to North Pender Island.  It was a glorious day, not a cloud in the sky and hot.

Passing Port Lock Point

We arrived a couple of hours later.  Otter Bay marina is really nice - there are summer homes here, a nice grassy park - like area with a lovely pool for adults and another one for families.  I spent a good deal of the afternoon at and in the pool.

Otter Bay Marina

We took an eveing walk around the grounds.  This is looking from the dock to the pool area.  The pool is behind the weeping willow trees.

Of course, you alway have to scoop (or bag) the poop when you're out walking!

Nice pool - 85 degrees

So pretty.  But it was also the most expensive marina so far.

Tomorrow we will be heading further south to the Saanich Inlet area. See you later!
